I was born in Mehara, Lautem district, on 14 March 1979.
I attended primary school in Mehara and continued on to study at the Dom Bosco Vocational
College in Fuiloro. In 1999 I suffered an illness which provoked paralysis in my legs, extending in my chest.
In 2006 my physical condition caused me to drop out from my university studies. As a young child
I had a talent for art, and so I opted to explore my creative talents further.
In my art work I like to depict scenes in the daily life of poor, simple people and also landscapes featuring
mountains and tranquil village life. Had I not become physically disabled, I would never have become an
artist. God helped me to discover this talent through illness and suffering.
